Charts and graphs are at the core of what Koyfin provides because it’s such a big part of the investment research process. We break out the chart types into individual functions instead of clumping all charts together and burying the chart types in the settings menu. Each chart type has a shortcut associated with it so you can quickly access it from the command bar. The following chart types are available:
Historical price (G)
Intraday price (GIP)
Historical fundamentals (GF)
Relative long/short performance (GR)
Normalized price (GM)
Historical Price Chart (G)
The historical price chart (G) is the most frequently used chart. You can add additional indicators like moving average, RSI and MACD to the price chart. Each indicator has settings like number of periods. You can also “lock” the indicator so it appears on all future G charts without having to manually add it.
All charts have settings to select various options like log/linear, grid lines, or the style of the legend.
You can draw annotations on charts using lines, shapes, % change and text. The annotations automatically save for the loaded security next time that security is pulled up.
The top right sharing menu allows you to see a table of the underlying data, download the PNG file to your computer or create a permanent link to the chart.
Note: Table view is not available for Fundamental Graph (GF) because of restrictions from our data provider
